???? Job SummaryThe Master Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing operations in an injection molding environment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills to maintain an accurate production schedule, manage material inventory, and ensure timely order fulfillment. The Master Scheduler will work closely with production, purchasing, and the internal project management team to meet customer demands while optimizing plant capacity and resources.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the master production schedule to align with customer orders, capacity, and material availability.Coordinate with the internal project managers and production teams, to ensure on-time delivery of injection-molded products.Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate rush orders, machine downtime, and resource constraints.Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust schedules proactively to avoid bottlenecks or delays.Ensure the scheduling process optimizes efficiency and minimizes waste.Generate, print, and distribute work folders to the production floor, ensuring all required documentation is included.Ensure all work orders contain accurate part specifications, quality requirements, and production details.Track work orders through completion and communicate updates to relevant teams.Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of resins, inserts, and other production materials.Work with purchasing to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of materials to prevent production delays.Conduct inventory audits to verify material availability and reduce excess stock or shortages.Work with the internal project managers to communicate realistic lead times and manage customer expectations.Partner with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance without disrupting production.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency.Utilize ERP / MRP systems to track and optimize production planning.Recommend and assist in automation or system enhancements to improve scheduling processes.???? Qualifications2-5 years of experience in production scheduling, materials planning, or logistics within an injection molding or manufacturing environment.Ability to create, adjust, and optimize schedules based on capacity, materials, and deadlines.Quick decision-making skills to resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, or material shortages.Strong written and verbal communication to coordinate with cross-functional teamsEnsuring work orders, material inventory, and schedules are accurate and complete.Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Adapt to changing priorities, urgent customer requests, and unexpected production challenges.Able to use Microsoft office software, including excel????
