GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Assembly position is responsible for the timely and accurate production of residential, commercial, and / or industrial water treatment systems for Franklin Water Treatment customers.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
 - Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
 - Uses available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
 - Safely operate a forklift.
 - Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
 - Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
 - Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
 - Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
 - Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Skills and Abilities
Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.Ability to stay organized and order materials around the warehouse.Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).1-3 years or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).Forklift Certification with 1-3 years or more of forklift experience (preferred).Computer Skills

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is :
Regularly required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs.Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs.; sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps; turn wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities; reach above shoulders; reach to full extension.The employee must continually lift or move 25lbs.
