About The Position

Job Title : Multimodality Technician

Profession : Technician

Specialty : Multimodality Mammography / Sonography

Duration : 13 weeks

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum 2 years of similar experience

License : Massachusetts State licenses in Radiography and Mammography

Certifications : ARRT in (R) and (M), ARRT (BS) or RDMS (BR), BLS

Must-Have : Required experience in performing Mammography and Breast Ultrasound procedures.

Description :

Under general supervision of the Radiology Administrative Director of Technical Operations and Clinical Supervisor of Breast Imaging.

The Multimodality Technician provides skill and initiative to the department mission.

Engages in interactions with staff, supervisor, clinicians, and others as necessary.

Primary duties involve working as a multi-modality technologist in the Breast Imaging section.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and screening examinations.

Conducts ultrasound and mammographic guided breast interventions.

Also responsible for bone densitometry.

Contributes to a collaborative environment and maintains high standards of practice.
