We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Foreman to oversee construction operations for a general contracting firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing crews of up to 15 laborers and carpenters, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of laborers and carpenters on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution of work.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and crew members.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and safety.
- Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and teamwork.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role .Proven ability to manage crews of up to 15 workers, including both laborers and carpenters.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to read and interpret construction documents.OSHA certification preferred.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Physical Requirements :
