Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a critical care unit.

The facility has a total of 355 beds.

It houses specialized centers including brain, cancer, heart, lung, and orthopedics.

The unit comprises a variety of patients.

The department is known for its high acuity and complex cases.

Common diagnoses include acute respiratory failure and complex sepsis.

The nurse will work with various equipment such as CRRT, vents, and HD monitoring.

Patient ratios are typically 2 : 1.

Candidates should be assertive but able to work effectively in a team.

Advocating for patients and their families is a key expectation in this role.

Preferred skills include experience in post-cardiac catheterization care.

The dress code allows for any scrubs, avoiding sweatshirts and t-shirts except on designated days.
