Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Join a leading manufacturer of ammunition for the military as a Production Supervisor. You will oversee a team of approximately 25 employees in an assembly and operating capacity. This role involves managing hours reporting, scheduling, conducting interviews, providing performance feedback, and leading safety meetings. Responsibilities include supervising and overseeing a team of 25 employees in assembly and operating capacities, managing hours reporting, scheduling, and conducting interviews, providing performance feedback, and leading safety meetings. Ensure continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes. Implement production management and process improvement strategies.

Essential Skills : 5 years of experience as a production supervisor or lead. Proficiency in supervision, safety, and production supervision. Knowledge in assembly, production management, and continuous improvement. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, process improvement, and Six Sigma. Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : Technical degree.

Work Environment : Work on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 2am, Monday to Thursday, with flexibility in scheduling. The shop is climate-controlled, very clean, and organized, consisting of two facilities next to each other. Job Type & Location : This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI. Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00 / yr.
