Position Summary
Assist Sr. Tax Consultants and Tax Managers in performing Sales / Use tax overpayment reviews, audit reviews, filing refunds, and additional consulting projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in review preparation, including tax research and data analysisLocate, examine, and scan relevant vendor invoices and other essential documentsReview, data entry, and schedule invoices and tax returnsResearch tax questions and issuesMake copies as necessary for assigned teamEnter data into computer via Word and ExcelContact vendors as necessary for refund follow-up and information requestsMaintain working knowledge of regional and local appraisal district processes and practicesAssist in the compilation of client reports and refund claimsTravel to client locationsNon-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to Sr. Tax Consultant, Tax Managers, and DirectorsPerform other duties as assignedEducation and Qualifications
