Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT / IEMA certification to work in a busy acute care setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position requires work across all areas of the radiology department, including OR, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, and emergency department
  • Short term acute care hospital with 338 staffed beds
  • Daily caseload averages 220 studies
  • Shifts are 8 hours with varying mid-shift start times between 9 : 30 AM and 12 : 00 PM
  • Holiday and rotating weekend coverage is required
  • No on-call or floating to sister facilities required
  • Epic EMR and Enterprise Sectra PACS are used and experience is required
  • Scrubs are provided in royal blue
  • Must be able to cover all radiology modalities, including OR and ED imaging, as part of daily workflow
  • Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed per 13-week contract; no time off permitted during first week
  • Orientation modules must be completed prior to start
  • Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing; shaving may be required for mask fit
  • Free parking is available on site

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current IEMA license required if applicable
  • Experience with general radiology, OR, ER, fluoroscopy, and portables required
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Applicants must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility; locals not accepted
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Must be able to work independently
