This is a Private Credit / Structured Real Estate Fund in the San Fran area. They are under $5B AUM and are looking for a CFO. The CFO will serve as a key member of the leadership team, with responsibility for overseeing finance, accounting, treasury, and fund operations, while partnering closely with the investment professionals and external stakeholders.

This role is particularly attractive for someone who thrives in a fast-growing alternatives platform and wants to have a seat at the table in shaping strategy, infrastructure, and capital formation.

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting, finance, tax, and treasury operations.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, capital account reporting, and investor reporting packages.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting in compliance with industry standards.
• Manage external audits and coordinate with third-party administrators.
• Oversee fund accounting, NAV calculations, fee structures, and capital calls / distributions.
• Ensure proper expense allocations, reconciliations, and valuation policies.
• Coordinate with compliance and risk with fund governing documents and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts; arrange for debt at fund level.

Operational leadership

The hours here are 9am-5pm and they are in the office 2x per week (Tue and Thur).

Cash compensation will be between $300K - $400K.
