Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
• ADN completion required

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Medical and Pediatrics / MAP

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 48

Shift Requirements : variable day / night shifts

Float to all inpatient units as needed.

Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend and every other holiday

Unit Information :   MAP Unit – Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients). The major conditions / most frequent diagnoses treated :  Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
