About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Director of Data Strategy to spearhead the transformation of our data capabilities. This pivotal senior leadership role will focus on building and leading a centralized data team designed to define and implement effective data collection, analysis, and utilization strategies to further our mission. Candidates should possess a strong background in the modern data stack, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools, along with a proven track record of scaling data functions in dynamic environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL, Python or R, and familiarity with contemporary data platforms and tools. Responsibilities will include establishing data governance standards, enhancing KPI reporting, and advancing our analytics infrastructure. Exceptional leadership skills are essential for mentoring the data team, maximizing performance, and ensuring data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.

The successful candidate will embody a servant leadership mindset, be a strategic thinker, and have excellent communication skills. We are looking for a leader who is intellectually curious, action-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a strong emphasis on fostering team well-being and driving business impact. A hands-on approach, humility, and a sense of ownership are crucial, as well as the ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. Experience applying machine learning, predictive modeling, or natural language processing to business challenges is a plus, especially within the creator economy, SaaS, or product-led growth contexts.
