Job Title : Licensed Clinical / Counseling Psychologist
Location : Atlanta, GA (with occasional travel to surrounding Georgia counties)
Employment Type : Part-Time (15–20 hours per week, evenings and weekends preferred)
Openings : One
Compensation : $55 per patient session
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical or Counseling Psychologist to join our team and provide comprehensive psychological care for diverse patient populations. This role includes conducting diagnostic evaluations, delivering therapy, and supporting patients through evidence-based treatment approaches. The position also offers opportunities for teaching, disability evaluations, and clinical research. Services are provided both virtually and in person, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Build positive, trusting rapport with patients
Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and formulate treatment plans
Provide therapy and counseling services for individuals, families, and groups
Help clients set goals and create action plans for personal, social, educational, and vocational development
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and complete documentation for clinical, school, or disability purposes
Conduct psychological disability examinations for Social Security Disability (SSD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) cases
Refer patients and families to specialists or community resources when necessary
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
Teach psychoeducational classes and facilitate group sessions
Contribute to research relevant to the clinic’s patient populations
Collaborate with treatment teams and clinic staff to ensure coordinated care
Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements
What We’re Looking For
Education : Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Licensure : Current GA or VA state license in psychology, including successful completion of the EPPP
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience post-licensure
Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills across a range of psychological disorders
Experience conducting SSD and / or VA disability evaluations preferred
Ability to provide both individual and group therapy in virtual and in-person formats
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
