Urban Design Group (UDG) is seeking a motivated and technically strong
Reporting directly to the Principal Architects, this role will serve as both a
Registered Architect
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in architecture, with a focus on commercial, adaptive reuse, or mixed-use projects preferred
Proficiency in Revit (BIM) and BIM Collaborate Pro required
Strong technical understanding of construction detailing, documentation, and code compliance
Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities, teams, and project deadlines simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
LEED AP accreditation preferred
Familiarity with Baltimore / Maryland permitting and regulatory processes a plus
Active interest in professional development, mentorship, and community involvement
Lead multiple projects from design through construction, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction
Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented studio culture
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables with a focus on technical excellence and creative solutions
Manage coordination among consultants, contractors, and internal design teams
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design strategy sessions
Review and redline drawings and specifications for completeness and constructability
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, and accessibility standards
Represent UDG in a professional manner with clients, partners, and the broader community
