ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
New Vendor Identification, Acquisition and Development
Identify potential new vendors through internal referrals, market research, trade show attendance and other means
New vendors should complement and enhance JME offerings and market penetration efforts
Develop comprehensive vendor management plans & processes to ensure optimal performance, inventory availability and market competitiveness
Help to negotiate best possible vendor rebate, freight, volume pricing, payment and inventory return terms
Work with sales / marketing teams to identify and grow underdeveloped product lines
Other
Manage special projects and develop processes as needed
Prepare and present ad hoc analysis to leadership team when requested
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Sales and / or business development experience
4 year college degree in business or operations preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS
Excellent communication skills including interdepartmental communication, telephone and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with ERP systems and CRM systems
Analytical aptitude and approach to projects
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Experience in high growth environments
Proven strong negotiation skills and results

Preferably in person in Milwaukee, WI, but open to remote position for right candidate.
Total Compensation :
$75,000+ starting annual compensation
