Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Our client is currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician.

Job Duties :

Troubleshooting of variable speed drives - logic changes, hardware maintenance, and on-going drive system upgrades. Â

System maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC's including program and logic changes, hardware and software upgrades, system backups, etc. Â

Troubleshooting and maintenance of valves.Â

Perform capital project support on the Electrical and Controls side. Â

Support of maintenance - will work with the maintenance department on all issues requiring engineering support. Call rotation is included - must be willing to be on call and have ability to reach location within an hour.

Troubleshooting and system maintenance and upgrades of DCS system. Spare parts inventory management.

Requirements :

Minimum 2-5 years' experience (WILL consider entry level)

Electrical & Instrumentation support of industrial equipment

Thorough knowledge of pressure, flow, and temperature application is a must; Control valves are a plus

Experience troubleshooting motors and valves for a variety of plant equipment

Physical agility

Shift : 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Pay : $30 – 39 / hr
