Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Purchase, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.
As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of activity within the location.Document and report any unusual incidents, observations, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts.Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and directing visitors as needed within the food and beverage environment.Support emergency response activities and participate in drills or training sessions as required by the location.What We're Looking For :

Must be at least 21 years of age.Customer service experience is preferred.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
