Description :

The position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.

Shifts will be 3x12 overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

On-call and weekend coverage will be required, including every other weekend.

This role may require floating to meet facility needs.

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse is required.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Candidates must possess a valid RN license.

Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory.

The position involves managing various tasks including accessing and managing ports, medication administration, and care for surgical patients.

Patient ratios will be 6 : 1 during night shifts.

The unit serves adults and geriatric patients with a diverse range of medical conditions.

Interdisciplinary support is available from various healthcare professionals.

Travelers should be aware of the potential for assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season.
