American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health assignment, requiring at least 1 year of recent skilled hospice experience and an active WA license.
Responsibilities
Home Health setting providing occupational therapy to adult patientsDay shifts, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMCaseload of 4-6 patients per day, with productivity standards of 27-30 points based on territoryNo weekend or on-call requirementsTravel within a territory that may include occasional maximum radius up to 100 milesDocumentation required in HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB); proficiency preferredClients grouped to minimize drive and windshield timeResponsible for providing occupational therapy services and completing necessary documentation for adult home health patientsDocumentation tools will be provided and must be returned at assignment endDress code permits any color scrubsMileage reimbursed at IRS standard rateFree parking availableFirst-time travelers acceptedRTO must be submitted at time of applicationFormer employees must have a 6-month separation and HR approval before returning as a travelerTraveling pairs accepted, each with separate territories and own transportationRequirements
Current WA Occupational Therapist license and NBCOT certification requiredBCLS certification requiredMinimum 1 year of recent skilled hospice or home health experience (at least within the past 3 years); inpatient experience not acceptedOASIS experience requiredActive driver’s license and personal transportation requiredTimely communication and documentation skills requiredCompletion of Hospice / Home Health Checklist is mandatoryLicense required if applicableBenefits
