Box Truck Drivers - 2 Needed - Short-term

Job Opportunity

We are seeking two individuals who can drive a 26" box truck to distribute food throughout the eight counties of the Akron / Canton Foodbank region. This is a short-term assignment until the end of the year, and you will work Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m.

Job Duties

• Assist in loading or reloading daily orders
• Verify accuracy of case counts, record shortages, overages, and / or product damages on invoices
• Notify partners of your estimated time of arrival and maintain communication regarding delays
• Load and off-load products, supplies and / or equipment using a power lift gate, dolly, or pallet jack
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle operation and maintenance on a daily basis
• Maintain a clean and operable vehicle, complete pre and post vehicle inspection, record conditions on inspection report, and turn in report at the end of each day
• Ensure complete compliance with all local, state, and federal motor vehicle regulations, and compliance with Foodbank and AIB Standards
