Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-8 students within an elementary school setting. This contract role runs from August 25, 2025, through June 23, 2026, and involves working closely with a small group of nine students in both ELA and Math pull-out sessions.

Responsibilities include providing targeted instruction tailored to the individual needs of K-8 students with moderate disabilities, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers, and maintaining detailed documentation of student progress. The role focuses on enhancing academic achievement and supporting social-emotional growth within the classroom and pull-out settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid K-8 Moderate Special Education license is required.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly within the K-8 spectrum.
  • Strong skills in delivering ELA and Math interventions.
  • Ability to create individualized lesson plans and adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
  • Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.

Location : This position is based in Lowell, MA, within a collaborative elementary school environment.
