Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM Position is a travel backfill assignment Work on Transplant / Stepdown unit with 34 beds Maintain 1 : 3-4 patient ratios Must have Med / Surg / Telemetry experience Experience caring for patients with Heparin drips and PCA pumps required Stepdown / PCU experience preferred Experience with solid organ transplant patients (kidney, liver, or pancreas) preferred Perform wound / drain care including wound vac, chest tube, and JP drain management Work with equipment including bladder scanners, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machines, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, WOWs, Hoyer lifts, Sara Stedy lifts, and sit-to-stand lifts Use Meditech EMR system Must be reliable, adaptable, and able to multi-task effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required Work alongside charge RN and 2-3 PCTs per shift Facility : This major healthcare facility operates a specialized 34-bed transplant and stepdown unit providing advanced care for patients requiring intensive monitoring and post-surgical care.
