Job Description :

• OTD & CRC are seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual to work ON-SITE with the Coastal Regional Commission's GIS team.
• The role involves editing road centerlines and related characteristics.
• Coordination with local government entities to obtain data and verify road ownership may be required.
• This position is initially funded through the end of the fiscal year, with potential for renewal on July 1st.
• The candidate should have a working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS 10.x Desktop software and GIS principles.
• Must be detail-oriented, skilled in ArcGIS editing tools, and familiar with shapefiles, geodatabases, and GIS data validation.
• Ability to query databases, produce reports, create GIS maps, and communicate effectively is essential.
• Qualifications include a completed or near-completed four-year degree in GIS, Geography, or related field, and proficiency with ArcGIS 10.x.
• Preferred experience includes GIS data creation / editing and work with local government agencies.
• Salary depends on experience in transportation attribution activities.
