ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Night Shift) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift with 3x12-hour shifts (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Job Description As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit, you will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with general medical and surgical diagnoses. The position includes responsibilities such as managing heparin and insulin drips, conducting wound care, and monitoring patients’ vital signs. Charge nurse experience is preferred for night shifts. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to medical-surgical patients. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Utilize the Epic charting system effectively for documentation. Perform high flow oxygen therapy and monitor cardiac rhythms. Coordinate with interdisciplinary support teams for optimal patient outcomes. Participate in unit orientation and training as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical / Surgical setting. Current BLS certification required; CPI preferred. Charge nurse experience preferred, especially for night shifts. Experience with Epic charting system required. Ability to manage insulin and heparin drips is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
