Patient Account Representative

Requirements :

• High school graduate / GED required. College degree in finance preferred.
• Certified Patient Account Specialist Certification and / or Certified Healthcare Collector Certification preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ business office experience.
• Previous experience in a business office within a hospital environment preferred or transferable skills from other fields
• Previous experience in a business office within a substance abuse and / or psychiatric hospital preferred.
• Must have an acceptable background check and credit report
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with 3rd party billing and collection experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse / dually diagnosed population
