University Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to fill a dynamic float role across both Community Health and Primary Care Clinics. This position offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities : delivering public health services, allergy injections, travel consultations and campus outreach, to providing direct clinical care through triage and patient support. It's an ideal opportunity for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about promoting student health and wellness in a vibrant university community.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer immunizations and travel vaccines per CDC / UHS protocols
• Conduct and interpret TB screenings
• Administer allergy injections and manage reactions
• Provide patient education and support outreach programs across campus
• Provide Travel based recommendations and guidelines
• Phone Triage
• Direct patient care and assessment
• Patient education
• Communicable Disease response support

Schedule :

This position is full time, working Monday-Friday from 8 : 30AM-5 : 00PM with some Wednesdays starting at 8 : 00AM.

UHS Medical Services provides high quality medical services to UW-Madison students with specialties in primary care, gynecology, sexual health, travel medicine, allergy and immunization, and physical therapy. Our clinicians also provide a wide range of preventative care in support of the UHS overarching mission of promoting students' academic and personal success through an integrated model of medical, mental health, and prevention activities and services.

Compensation :

The starting salary for this position is $72,800 annually, equivalent to $35 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
