Job OverviewCorazon is assisting our client, CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico, in the beautiful city of Alamogordo with a search for a dynamic and skilled Interventional Cardiologist. This is a hospital-employed position offering the opportunity to provide exceptional care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico is part of a Catholic, not-for-profit health organization that has proudly served Otero County for over 75 years, continuing to grow and deliver quality healthcare to the community.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in advanced cardiovascular procedures, including stent placement, pacemaker and cardioverter defibrillator implantation, right and left heart catheterization, and loop recorder implantation. Qualifications :
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active New Mexico medical license or ability to obtain
- 3-5 years post-fellowship experience
- Comfortable working without open heart surgery
- Excellent patient service and communication skills

- Call schedule- 14 days / month
- Average of 16-18 patients a day in clinic
