JCO Workforce solutions is on the lookout for an experienced Construction Safety Manager for one of our top clients. This dynamic company is one of the top construction companies in the semiconductor space and are looking for hardworking individuals to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in leading and strengthening safety protocols for either a Sub- or General Contractor in the semiconductor and Mission Critical construction space. This individual will be responsible for building comprehensive safety programs, guiding on-site teams, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations while fostering a culture that prioritizes safety at every level of the organization.
Primary Responsibilities will include :
- Develop, implement, and manage companywide safety programs, procedures, and initiatives in compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations.
- Create, review, and maintain Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs) tailored to each project's scope, risks, and client requirements.
- Conduct risk analyses and implement control measures to minimize potential hazards.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate safety personnel, promoting a learning-focused environment that encourages professional growth.
- Lead and facilitate safety training programs including toolbox talks, OSHA compliance courses, NFPA 70E electrical safety instruction, and other specialized sessions.
- Conduct regular site audits and safety walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety breaches, preparing comprehensive reports and corrective action plans.
- Analyze root causes and establish measures to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with project management, field supervision, and subcontractors to ensure safety is integrated throughout all construction phases.
- Maintain up-to-date records for training, inspections, incidents, and compliance activities to support internal reviews and external audits.
The Ideal Candidate will have :
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related discipline, or equivalent field experience.5–10 years of proven experience managing safety programs within the construction industry.Strong understanding of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and ANSI standards.Experience conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and root cause investigations.Certifications :
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required).NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Certification (required).CSP or CHST credentials (preferred).
