ITA is seeking a Journeyman UI / UX Developer to join the team in a hybrid capacity in Hampton Roads or the National Capitol Region.

Please note this position is contingent upon contract award, expected late Spring 2025.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Journeyman UI / UX Developer to join our team and support the design and development of user-centric applications. The ideal candidate will have experience translating complex requirements into intuitive, engaging, and functional interfaces that enhance user experience. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency, creativity, and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and improve design solutions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Collaborate with developers to ensure UI designs are accurately implemented and responsive across multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Implement UI components using front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) when necessary.
• Maintain consistency in branding, typography, and color schemes across all designs.
• Optimize UI designs based on user feedback, analytics, and A / B testing.
• Stay updated with UI / UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
