This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Regular business hours of operation are 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM EST, Monday - Friday.

The Work You Will Do :
This is a Planning Analyst position in Tallahassee, Fl with FloridaCommerce working under the Bureau of Community Planning and Growth within the Division of Community Development. This position is responsible for implementing Chapter 163, Part II, Florida Statutes, and the provision of technical assistance to local governments.

Your Specific Responsibilities :
This position is an advanced, professional planning position and is responsible for implementing Chapter 163, Part II, Florida Statutes and the Development of Regional Impact Program (Chapter 380, Florida Statutes); interagency coordinated review functions (MPO Transportation Plans, Deepwater Port Master Plans, Campus Master Plans, etc.) and the provision of technical assistance to local governments. This position is responsible for conducting in-depth review of projects requiring a broad knowledge and expertise in planning principles and techniques and the use of independent judgment in implementing Florida's growth management laws. General duties include travel to local governments.
