3D Graphic Designer, In-Store Experience
Location : Boston, MA (Hybrid : 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Duration : 6 months+
Pay Range : $50-$55 per hour
Overview :
Our client, a major international footwear company, is seeking a visionary Designer to lead the development of dynamic in-store touchpoints across North America, spanning both retail and wholesale environments. This role blends creative excellence with technical precision, driving the creation of print-ready assets and immersive spatial experiences that elevate brand storytelling. You'll need to have experience with traditional graphic design in addition to 3D design for the in-store experience. (Rhino, SketchUp etc...)
Key Responsibilities :
Creative Design & Execution
- Design compelling graphics, signage, and promotional materials for retail environments.
- Lead the conceptualization and rendering of retail fixtures, window displays, and in-store elements using advanced 3D modeling tools.
- Ensure all designs meet global brand standards and are structurally feasible across various formats and scales.
- Stay ahead of design and consumer trends, integrating innovative ideas into both 2D and 3D executions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple rounds of feedback with agility.
Production Oversight & File Management
Prepare and organize final artwork files with precision, including 3D specs and material guidelines.Partner with internal teams and vendors to define project parameters and layout production-ready files.Review dielines, dimensions, and prototypes to ensure accuracy and quality before release.Brand Representation & Communication
Represent the client's brand consistently across North America, tailoring designs to regional market needs.Communicate proactively and collaboratively with peers and stakeholders, embodying brand values and creative integrity.Embrace new challenges, including the integration of immersive and experiential design elements.Visual Merchandising & Project Prioritization
Apply expertise in visual merchandising and spatial planning to deliver impactful in-store executions.Oversee design projects from concept to production, managing timelines and addressing risks with proactive solutions.Serve as the creative lead for critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand goals and market demands.Qualifications :
5+ years of in-store design experience, ideally within footwear or apparel.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Rhino, SketchUp, and other 3D design tools.Strong print production knowledge and technical design skills.
