The New Jersey Library Association (NJLA) is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work with NJLA staff to ensure that our accounting software (currently QuickBooks Online), Association Management Software (currently Novi), bank accounts, credit card accounts, and investment accounts remain synchronized, and accurately reflect NJLA’s financial status.
This is a remote, unbenefited position for New Jersey residents that pays $1,200 per month, based on the assumption that the Bookkeeper will average 20 hours per month on NJLA activity. We need someone with extensive experience managing finances in a comparable role using QuickBooks Online, preferably with at least one other nonprofit. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and a high level of self-motivation. Applicants communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Interested candidates should email their cover letter and resume to the attention of Brett Bonfield, Executive Director, NJLA, director@njla.org, with “NJLA Bookkeeper” in the subject line, no later than Friday, December 5, 2025.
