Medical Billing Specialist

Advantage Resourcing is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join a reputable company in Lafayette, LA, established since 1971. Our client has been dedicated to meeting the community's healthcare needs, and now, they're looking for someone like you to be part of their amazing team!

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 and a consistent schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

As a Medical Billing Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting claims status checks to ensure proper resolution.
• Initiating contact with insurance providers.
• Reviewing and processing claim rejections and appeals for resolution.
• Monitoring payment discrepancies and processing payments.
• Reviewing claims for Federal compliance.
• Processing incoming correspondence and phone calls.
• Verifying patient insurance and ensuring accuracy of demographic information.
