Job description

Senior HRIT Leader

We are seeking a senior HRIT leader to serve as the primary solutioning partner for global HR stakeholders and the head of our Product Owner team. This Director-level role is much more than backlog management you will be the strategic bridge between HR, IT, and the business, driving technology-enabled solutions that deliver measurable business value. Acting as the deputy to the head of HRIT, you will work directly with senior HR executives to translate business needs into system strategies, shape policy through technology enablement and lead a five-person team of Product Owners into trusted solutioning partners for their respective domains. This is an opportunity for a seasoned HRIT professional with both business acumen and technical depth to step into a visible, enterprise-wide leadership role.

The responsibilities include :

  • Serving as the primary HRIT solutioning partner for global HR stakeholders reframing requests into business problems and proposing effective, technology-enabled solutions.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of five Product Owners, ensuring they engage as strategic partners for the HR business rather than transactional requirement gatherers.
  • Partnering closely with Module Owners, System Architecture, and Project Management teams to deliver cohesive, cross-functional solutions in an Oracle HCM environment.
  • Acting as deputy to the head of HRIT, representing HRIT leadership in executive forums and assuming accountability for cross-workstream initiatives.
  • Championing a solution mindset across HRIT, ensuring that technology strategies align with business objectives and HR policy.
  • Building strong relationships with HR leaders globally, ensuring HRIT is seen as a trusted advisor and enabler of business value.

The qualifications must-have include :

  • 10+ years of progressive experience across HR and IT, with significant exposure to HR technology solutioning and HR processes / policy.
  • Deep understanding of HRMS platforms (Oracle HCM strongly preferred; Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar also considered).
  • Demonstrated success in roles that combine HR process expertise, technology solutioning, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong leadership skills proven ability to coach and elevate a team to operate strategically.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills; able to engage credibly with senior HR executives and reframe requirements into business outcomes.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization with diverse stakeholders.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications include :

  • Prior consulting experience (Big 4 or HR / IT transformation consulting).
  • Experience in both corporate HR roles (HRBP, COE) and HRIT / system deployment.
  • Track record of stepping into a "second-in-command" or deputy role.
  • This is a remote role, based anywhere in the US - strong preference for East Coast time-zones, or in the UK. Please note that the compensation and benefits below apply only to US located roles.

    Compensation : The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $130,000 - $160,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
