Turnaround Cost Analyst
The TAR Cost Analyst will work as part of the turnaround cost group to provide support for current and upcoming outages and non-routine maintenance.
The TAR Cost Analyst is expected to have a general understanding and 3 years minimum related experience of incurred cost and general ledger accounting. He / she must be able to present confidently in meetings, possess basic Microsoft Office skills, including fundamentals and proficiency in Excel, and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and vendors. The Turnaround Cost Analyst may be asked to support other efforts within the Turnaround or Non-Routine Maintenance cost teams.

Planning Phase
Vendor quote review and validationUpdate and maintain PO log
Setup vendors in systemIssue requisitionsVerify master service agreementsRequest and validate staffing plansExecution Phase
Compile DFR ReportMaintain accurate employee rosters and badge numbers systemCollect and validate per diem documentation and maintain per diem logTrack daily labor and per diem costsTrack daily equipment costsTrack daily material and shopwork costsPerform weekly reconciliations with vendorsMonitor incurred costs vs. PO value and advise as neededEnter PO change order requisitionsMonitor burn rates to support forecastMonitor burn rates to support forecastQuestion lead planner of any delta between estimate breakdown and vendor reportingParticipate in pre-forecast PM meeting Validate and approve invoicesValidate and compare data between systemsPost Turnaround Phase

High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years' experience in cost tracking / project controls cost within oil & gas, petrochemical, and / or turnaround environments.Understanding and knowledge of turnaround lifecycle and cost control principles.Experience with SAP and other Cost tracking / reporting tools.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook .Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal teams and external contractors.Ability to work full-time ON-SITE and OT hours as needed / required.
