Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, 2F Progressive Care Unit PRN (Work as Needed), Nights (7pm-7am)

Job Duties : We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit : The 2F Progressive Care Unit, also known as 2F PCU, is a 16-bed intermediate level of care unit between the Inpatient Units and the Critical Care units. While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care nurses will encounter a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, sepsis, etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team, nurses provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population. 2F PCU is a great place for nurses to cultivate and expand their assessment skills while managing several drips and other specialized procedures. New Graduate RNs are welcome.

Qualifications : BLS for Healthcare Provider required. Previous Nursing Assistant experience required. High school diploma / equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
