Location : Tucson, Arizona

Position :  CHS Travel : Echocardiology Technician / Radiology (898839)

Position Information :

The Echo traveler for NMC needs to be proficient in the following Echo based procedures :

1.  Adult 2D echo

a. with use of contrast agent

b. bubble study

c. Post cardiac cath

d. Post surgical echo

e. assessment of pericardial effusion

f.  pericardiocentesis imaging

g. calculating LV and RV strain

h. diastology with TDI

i. PISA calculations

j. Biplane measurements for  EF

2. Treadmill stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging

3. Dobutamine stress echo, set-up, resting and stress imaging

4. Transesophageal Echo (TEE), set up , image acquisition, physician assistance

The Radiology Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The Radiology Technologist, maintains a state license as a general radiographer, and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of : basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services and routine procedures
