Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET / CT Specialist

Join our advanced diagnostic imaging team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET / CT at our state-of-the-art Specialty Services Center in Syracuse, NY. This role offers exceptional growth opportunities, including fully-funded CT certification training and competitive compensation ranging from $90,000 to $110,240 annually.

Position Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform hybrid imaging procedures in our modern outpatient setting. This position offers a perfect work-life balance with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced PET / CT and SPECT / CT imaging systems
  • Calculate, prepare, and administer radioactive isotopes according to protocol
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide procedure instructions
  • Perform quality control procedures and maintain equipment standards
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care

Required Qualifications

  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
  • New York State DOH Nuclear Medicine License
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong patient care and communication skills

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification
  • Previous PET / CT experience (training provided for qualified candidates)
