About The Position We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona. This opportunity starts on Dec 29, 2025, and features a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts from 8am to 5pm. The assignment involves working in an outpatient primary care clinic located within a hospital, providing care to patients with chronic conditions, including diabetes. Job Details Location : Arizona Facility Type : Outpatient Primary Care Clinic (hospital-based) Start Date : Dec 29, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Family Practice Physician Assistant Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting Manage chronic care cases, with a focus on diabetes management Collaborate with clinic staff to deliver coordinated patient care Document patient encounters using the RPMS EMR system Participate in care planning and follow-up for ongoing patient needs Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care Additional Information Minimum 2 years of chronic care experience required Experience with diabetes management is important Indian Health Service (IHS) experience preferred but not required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
