American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a PACU position requiring an IN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the PACU / Progressive Care Unit of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule from 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm
  • Position is for a 13-week contract
  • No local travelers accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
  • Applicants must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
  • RTO (Requested Time Off) must be less than 1 week
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per unit needs

    • Requirements

  • Active IN or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent PACU or Progressive Care nursing experience
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • No expiring certifications within 30 days of the start date
