Mobile Phlebotomist - Tuscaloosa, Alabama

FLSA Status: Full-time | Non-Exempt | Hourly

Madison Core Labs is a state-of-the-art full-service independent clinical laboratory, and we are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team! Position Summary: Madison Core Laboratories phlebotomists are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility. This position will be expected to work a flexible schedule serving Central Alabama, including Tuscaloosa, Alabama and surrounding areas. (Working Hours could range between 5:30am- 5:00pm.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs.
• Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records.
• Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples.
• Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing.
• Answer related patient questions and provide useful information.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling.
• Follows instructions and other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Experience: 5 years related experience, Preferred

Education: H.S. Diploma, Required

Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Phlebotomy Certification

This position does require a clean motor vehicle record.
