_ Summary : _

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for accurately receipting and recording all monies received on vehicle deals and dealer trades, organizing deal paperwork, and supporting month-end accounting processes. This role is critical to maintaining clean schedules, accurate customer and deal records, and timely financial reporting for the dealership.

• Duties & Responsibilities :
• Receipt and post all monies received for new and used vehicle deals, dealer trades, and related transactions.
• Organize and review deal jackets for completeness, including required signatures, accurate VINs, funding documents, and supporting paperwork.
• Process dealer trades in and out, ensuring all inventory, titles, and billing are correctly recorded.
• Apply cash receipts to the correct customer, deal, or account, and assist with resolving payment discrepancies.
• Perform office filing and scanning of deal paperwork, invoices, and other accounting documents to maintain accurate, auditable records.
• Assist with reconciling related schedules and preparing end-of-month accounting reports as directed by the Controller or Office Manager.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures, and complete any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
