Job Summary :
Specialized assignment focused on creating manufacturing work instructions and procedures, converting them from current instruction system. Complete assignments to improve manufacturing processes and procedures, based on LEAN assembly principles. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for assembly, dis-assembly, soldering, component removal / installation, coating and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods and operator effectiveness and comfort. Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. SAFETY
Skills Required
1. Production background / electronics background 2. Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a relevant field of specialization. (Electronics or manufacturing environment) 3. Experience with CAD or other types of visual aids. 4. Experience in creating detailed work instructions. Using an MES-type system. 5. Technical certificate or College degree in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
Experience Required
Minimum 4 years work experience required.
Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering disciplines preferred. Experience with Aegis FactoryLogix a plus.
Education Required
Associate's Degree, or equivalent four years work experience.
