About The Position
A permanent, full-time opportunity for a BC / BE Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist to provide critical care services in a state-of-the-art 14-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The role involves caring for pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions, supporting surgical and catheterization programs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a tertiary care setting.
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide specialized intensive care to pediatric patients in a CICU.
- Manage care for over 400 pediatric cardiac surgical cases annually.
- Collaborate with ECMO, catheterization, and transport teams.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring residents through academic affiliations.
- Support procedural sedation and contribute to pediatric ICU and emergency care.
