Responsibilities
Guides high-performing technology teams by aligning actions with project goals, facilitating planning and process adaptation, and fostering continuous learning in Agile / Scrum.
Integrates evolving customer and business needs into product development, collaborates with product owners to prioritize outcomes, and balances short- and long-term trade-offs.
Applies agile frameworks to enhance development effectiveness, optimizes scrum ceremonies, and coaches on backlog and planning practices.
Resolves cross-team and nontechnical impediments and contributes to special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
Computer Science or Engineering experience preferred.
Minimum of three years related work experience.
Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational technology projects preferred.
Foster healthy team dynamics by celebrating wins and encouraging blameless learning from failures, establishing working agreements and promoting psychological safety.
Supporting individual growth through mentorship and feedback loops and enhancing retention by focusing on well-being and professional development.
Manage external interference and shielding the team.
Own impediments and delegate facilitation to empower the team and acting as a servant leader who filters and prioritizes incoming requests
Ensure delivery success by tracking metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time, promoting thin slicing of epics and managing aging WIP to improve throughput and facilitating realistic sprint planning and retrospectives to refine commitments
Collaborate across teams and leverage relationships to unblock dependencies.
Guide teams through Agile principles and self-organization
Use tools like JIRA, Planning Poker, and retrospectives to coach improvement
Act as a change agent who empowers experimentation and continuous learning
