Valiant Integrated Services has an exciting opportunity for a S ubmarine Tactical Responses to Adversary Technical Advances (STRATA) Mid-Level Analyst supporting the Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) in Groton, CT. UWDC, under the direction of Commander, Submarine Forces (COMSUBFOR), leads undersea superiority and enables the combat lethality and desired effects generated from, and within, the Undersea Domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

• Provide expert technical guidance and recommendations for executing the STRATA program.
• Conduct studies and report findings based on results from at-sea tactical development exercises that assess undersea warfighting objectives, goals, and requirements.
• Coordinate development and justification of tactical development objectives, plans, schedules, and support requirements.
• Recommend improvements in submarine equipment, operations, sensing, operator and crew readiness training, tactics evolution, and data collection.
• Liaise between warfighting and technical communities.
• Work full-time at UWDC Groton CT.
• Travel approximately 5-10 occasions per year to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree preferred, in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

CLEARANCE : Active TS / SCI

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
