CPG Packaging Art Director (Park Ridge)

Client Overview : Our client, a large consumer goods product brand, is seeking a CPG Packaging Art Director. This role is a strong mix of being creative and one who has experience with the production process (start to finish).

Requires working in our Park Ridge, NJ office 4 days per week : Monday Thursday. Friday is a WFH or remote day. Hybrid schedule is not negotiable.

Role Overview : The Art Director will use a variety of hard and soft skills, as well as industry knowledge, to provide the most comprehensive support to the Creative Team and our business. The role is responsible for helping to drive consumer engagement and growth through impactful, creative and motivating design. They will work on leading a variety of projects within our portfolio, which includes Fruit Snacks (Americas leading fruit snacks brands), and more. This is a function between Creative and Marketing responsible for ideation of concepts, development, design, and execution of 360 product packaging, display, print collateral and corporate / brand identity.

CPG Packaging Art Director Responsibilities :

• Create & refine innovative package design concepts.
• Create and adhere to brand identity guidelines, ensuring integrity within and across brands as relevant.
• Pre and post-production expertise
• Extensive knowledge of printing processes
• 2-D & 3-Dimensional Rendering of Packaging and Displays
• Digital platform knowledge
• Review Proofs
• Visual Trade Show Design & Collateral
• Product Photography
• Collaboration within Creative / Marketing & Cross-Functionally
