- Provider Support : Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities :
Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatmentRecommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose conditionMonitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicitiesPrescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injuryExplain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patientRefers patients to medical specialists when necessaryRepresents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the groupCollaborate and manage APPsQualifications
MD or DO degreeBoard-certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineLicensed to practice medicine in the state of CaliforniaProven experience in a primary care settingExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentDemonstrates the True North values : The True North values are a set of value-based behaviors that are to be consistently demonstrated and role-modeled by all employees at NorthBay Health. Annual Compensation Range : IM $350,000 - W2 employee model (compensation based on 1.0 FTE, full time)Signing Bonus : up to $30,000Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd
year) : up to $30,000 per year
Relocation bonus : up to $15,000 (based on location)Residency Stipend : up to $2,000 a monthAPP Supervision after 2nd
year : up to $1,500 per month per 1.0 FTE APP
