American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT MR certification, and BLS, to join our team for a 14-week assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Position is based in a short-term acute care hospital MRI department

Work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 12 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM (4x10s mid / evening shifts)

Moderate daily caseload with floating required within the service line and to affiliated facilities as needed

On-call required on a weekly rotation covering overnight shifts and one 24-hour holiday call shift per contract

No regular weekend shifts are required, but on-call coverage includes some weekends

EMR is Epic; experience with Epic is required

Staffed in a 115-bed hospital

Scrub color is light gray or silver

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Orientation schedule may occur outside normal working hours

Free parking is available onsite

Must cover one holiday call shift per contract

Permanent employees must wait 1 year after leaving before returning as a traveler

Travelers can stay for 12 months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break in service

No medical marijuana cards accepted

Return to work policy and length of assignment restrictions apply

RTO requests cannot be changed once submitted

Fit testing is required for mask use in clinical areas

References from supervisors within the past two years are preferred

Modules must be completed pre-start and can be billable up to 16 hours

Active ARRT MR certification required

BLS certification required

Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required

Epic charting experience required

State license required if applicable; pending state license may be accepted for Missouri

Applicants must reside outside a 75-mile radius; no local candidates accepted

No RTO allowed during the first week of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract

Candidates must be able to float within service line and to affiliate hospitals as needed

Facial hair must allow for fit testing, or candidate should be willing to shave to meet fit testing requirements
