Job description

Job Opportunity At Texas Compression

Texas Compression is a Houston-based mechanical and industrial services contractor servicing customers across Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. We are currently looking for experienced skilled laborers for upcoming projects located in Harris, Galveston, Fort Bend, and Brazoria Counties. Job duties include but are not limited to :

  • Perform general plant maintenance
  • Maintain accurate record keeping on work performed
  • Ability to work with basic hand tools
  • Ensuring that the worksites are clean and safe
  • Providing assistance with heavy machinery

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years previous experience in industrial environments is required
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in abnormal operating conditions which consist of but are not limited to confined spaces or environments that pose immediate danger to life and health
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in highly regulated, detail-oriented environment where strict adherence to rules and procedures are always required

    • Requirement :

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass our Driver Certification Program
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • 2 years' experience minimum
  • Clear drug and alcohol screen
  • Clear background check
  • TWIC, Basic + required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Able to carry up to 100 pounds
  • Must be able to work 10-12+ hours days
