Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE : INLOT).

The Role :

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by providing general maintenance and repairs at the property.

Responsibilities :

Foster an environment that embodies Ballys Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled entertaining atmosphere

Enthusiastically promote Ballys customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations

Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements safety protocols internal controls Company policies and procedures and organizational goals

Assist with training and developing team members

Respond to maintenance calls and provide general maintenance including but not limited to changing lightbulbs HVAC needs painting removing snow gardening and cleaning

Conduct inspections of public areas daily conducts and documents preventative maintenance initiatives regularly

Keep all mechanical areas in a neat orderly working condition

Evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests as needed

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions including using personal protective equipment when required

Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costs

Coordinate maintenance and repair needs with other departments as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board

High school or equivalent is required

Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in HVAC Electrical and Carpentry preferred.

Must be able to work flexible shifts including weeknights weekends and holiday
